      The only way to do this is to use a standalone DVR and wire the cameras to the DVR. PCs and laptops cannot do this.
    • How can I get the quad view and see 4 cameras on one screen?
      The only way to do this and record all 4 camera at the same time is to use a standalone DVR and wire the cameras to the DVR. PCs and laptops cannot do this. You can get the quad view by using the USB 4 channel surveillance adapter we carry but that will still only record one camera at a time
    • I didn't get a manual with my DVR
      The manual on some models is on the mini CD that comes with the DVR

    • My camera cant see anything in the dark
      Just like with any camera you still need a light source. Both can be used in daylight and will see in IR or IR thru UV. When taking photos you can use the flash on both kinds because it contains IR and UV light. If you are recording movies then you will need an IR and/OR a UV light source. We have Full SPectrum illuminators, IR illuminators as well as other IR and UV light sources you can use.

  • Infrared and Full Spectrum Illuminators
    • One line of lights is not working on my Phantom Full Spectrum Illuminator
      It is the row of IR lights and you cannot see them with the naked eye. Take a photo of the illuminator on and you can see that they are working.
    • Only 5 or 6 lights are working on my Phantom Full Spectrum Illuminator
      This is an indication that the battery is old, dying or not strong enough. Replace it with a new and/or different brand of battery.
    • I don't see any light or dim light coming from my infrared illuminator
      You cannot see IR light with your eyes. YOu may see a dim purple tint coming from it and that is all. Take a photo of it while it is on and you will see the IR lights lit.
    • How long will the battery last in my illiminator?
      The creepy hollow and phantom ones use a 9v and it lasts about 9 hours if left on constantly. The sima light is rechargeable and will last about 45 minutes if left on constantly or about 3 hours if turned off when not in use.

      All EMF detectors for sale on our web page at the present time are great for beginners. It’s just a matter of deciding which properties are important to you. For example the audio alarm, the small size, whether you like colored lights or a numerical reading. EMF meters added to the store that are not recommended for the beginner will be marked for the more advanced investigator.
  • Flashlights
    • You sent me the flashlight but forgot to send the lenses!
      The lenses are in the bottom of the flashlight. Unscrew the bottom to find the lens storage compartment. There are two parts that unscrew. One compartment for the battery and one for the lenses. Please check here before emailing us.

      This normal for IR LED bulbs to get very warm.
