Many documented “claims” have been made about the Paranormal, spirits & ghosts. One claim in particular is the “sensation of electricity,” when a presence is said to be around. Some people claim to have felt a spirit go right through them, and at that precise moment they felt as if electricity surged throughout their body. Matter is made of positive& negative electric charge. The Human body (in life) uses electrical impulses, so its probable that an entity or spirit may also use electrical impulses in some manner. After all if they are with us then they must consist of some sort of Matter.
In tests the ECD-102 has picked up static from a simple plastic shopping bag from 10 feet away. Its safe to say the stronger the static force, the further the ECD-102 can sense it. The ECD-102 is about 3 ½” long by 2 ½” wide. It comes with a antenna that serves as a sensing electrode, and an easy on/off toggle switch. While investigating the paranormal in low light situations I have found that the white LED works best. Especially if you are placing it in front of a camera to be monitored. The ECD-102 is small, portable lightweight & operates on one 9 volt battery. If you place three or four ECD-102′s about 8-10 feet apart you would be able to tell what direction the charge (or spirit) is moving.
….Imbalanced atoms with a negative charge turn the LED off, it lights again when removed.
….Imbalanced atoms with a positive charge makes the LED bright, then turn off when removed.
Directions:
First make sure the ECD-102 is in the off position before installing the battery.
The ECD has an easy 3 way ON/OFF/ON toggle switch. The middle is the OFF position. Turn the switch all the up or down to turn the unit on.
The ECD-102 HAS a “reset time”. What this means is the sensing diode (antenna) has to balance itself after being handled. Once the Antenna is balanced, the light will come on & the ECD is ready to work from that point on. It may take several minutes before the ECD becomes balanced, usually 30-40 seconds. You might be able to help it along by slightly touching the tip of the antenna.
Don’t be fooled by false positives – If you walk by the ECD & the light dims or go’s out, this is probably due to the static charge you have built up …Not Paranormal.
The way it works is simple. The ECD-102 responds to the movement of Negative & Positive electric Charge. When the approach of a negative charge is sensed the LED turns OFF. When the approach of a positive charge is sensed the led gets brighter, then turns off when the positive charge moves away.
The ECD-102 can be moved from room to room in an Investigation or placed static in front of a video camera. & monitored. It works great with other equipment, such as motion detectors & audio recorders. If you get an EVP around the same time the ECD-102 is responding to something… that just brings credence to your findings. It could potentially be used as a communication device as well – with simple “yes & no” questions. If you place 3-4 ECD’s in a row about 8 to 10 feet apart you could detect which way an electrical charge (or spirit) is moving.
